Down with Detroit Adding Fresh Flavor to Motown Apparel Design Mix

As you may have heard - because we typed it out and put it on our new DWD website - Down with Detroit is the official unofficial hype factory & merch shop for Detroit city & the great state of Michigan. This was so decreed at a secret meeting of the Detroit chapter of the Stonecutters held under top secret conditions.

With that power comes great responsibility and therefore, DWD’s Detroit collection is getting shined up like old school Shinola shoe polish! That’s right, Shinola Shoe Polish and if you don’t know ‘bout that, you don’t know “$#!+ from Shinola!”

Anyway, we started counting, but then we stopped after too many toes, but let’s just say at one point we made a shirt or hoodie design for nearly everything Detroit, ever. Also, that’s not entirely true, but we did make a whole lot of Detroit themed tees to totes to toddler gear, too.

Here’s a look at some of the new hits:

Our OG Detroit Roots that was the Old English D with DWD version roots coming out is back with a new look and feel- but label still shouting Detroit Roots!
DWD is dropping this new shoutout to the 313 with “Detroit 313”
Motown is Detroit City so we put together this new Detroit DC layout to rep that way

So check this, some of the old, old skewl Detroit merch flavor we had will come back as was, but some will keep getting that twist for today’s feel.

We’ll roll deeper when we release more looking out for Fall and beyond!
